Biography

Samantha Treco (B. 1993, Nassau, Bahamas) is an interdisciplinary Artist and Art Educator who received her Bachelor’s of Art in 2016 at The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City, NY. In 2017, Treco moved back to The Bahamas and took up the position as Creative Arts Assistant Education Manager at The Current: Baha Mar Gallery and Art Center. Treco’s practice led her to teaching art lessons at CAB Gallery & Studio (CAB) where she is presently the Studio & Gallery Manager. Her engagement with visitors at CAB creates an accessible hands-on experience to artmaking.
Treco has shown work with galleries in the USA and The Bahamas. Her artwork can be found in the following prominent collections: Baha Mar Collection, Dawn Davies Collection, Central Bank of the Bahamas Collection, and other private collections.
