  • Biography

In 2017, Jenna Chaplin completed a Masters in Landscape Architecture at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. She holds a B.F.A. in Studio Art from the University of the Pacific, in Stockton, California. There, Jenna concentrated her studies in painting and 3D design but enjoys working in a vast range of media. She works primarily in painting both realistically and abstractly. She often uses vibrant, bright colors to capture the images of the Caribbean that act as her constant inspiration; however, she also enjoys working with charcoal, printmaking and ceramics. For her, landscape architecture is the perfect merge of art and design with her interests in the environment. Jenna takes inspiration from the landscape of the Bahamas where she was born and raised. She spent her childhood aboard her family's sailboat where she learnt a great deal of respect for the ocean.
